Who are they?
Trust is a Berlin-based project space for platform design and utopian conspiracy. They bring together startups and theorists, designers and programmers, organisms and algorithms to rethink uncertain times. Trust was initiated by two graduates from the Strelka Institute, Calum Bowden and Arthur Röing Baer. Why are we collaborating with them?
Daimler TBA needs to broaden its network in order to continue developing new ideas into the future. In order to do this, we want to establish relationships with some of the smartest people working at the intersection of design and technology.
What are we collaborating with them on?
Through a joint residency with Trust, we want to confirm and map the possibilities of alternative future scenarios in which the living and working conditions of truck drivers are radically improved. As facilitators of this residency, we expect them to be able to curate and direct residents to develop bold new ideas that could serve as inspiration for Daimler TBA’s future logistics and labour policies.
