Who are they?

2046LAB is a global network of designers with offices in Moscow (R&D), LA (writers’ room), and Shenzhen (logistics and manufacturing). They have worked with some of the world’s most forward-thinking brands, including Airbnb, Google, Snapchat, and Kanye West. They run the hyped subscription platform called LOT and have deep knowledge of designing physical products, digital services and lifestyle experiences.

Why are we collaborating with them?

2046LAB and its founder, Vadik Marmeladov have a die-hard following of some of the most talented and radical-thinking designers in the world. These are exactly the collaborators that Daimler Trucks Asia need to be working with to create products, services and stories that attract tomorrow’s customers.

How are we collaborating with them?

Through a social dreaming project, we are working with 2046LAB on creating the world’s most attractive and sustainable long-distance travel experience. The project departs from the research we’ve done with Buses I/O and 2046LAB’s speculative ARK1 project. Where we provide the business strategy, we expect them to develop a clear visual prototype of the transportation vehicles and the essential travel experience.
